Stable Squad

Illustrations for Stable Squad – a new club for junior supporters of World Horse Welfare.

Stable Squad is a fundraising initiative by World Horse Welfare – an international charity seeking to protect all horses, donkeys, and mules.

I was commissioned to illustrate the Stable Squad brand mascots – Jet, Crumpet, and Sage. These characters are inspired by the exclusive LeMieux toy ponies that members receive in their welcome pack. The illustrations needed to convey each mascot’s unique personality and fit seamlessly with the club’s new visual identity.

Working closely alongside the team at World Horse Welfare and brand designer Emily Gorham, I produced a suite of character illustrations to bring the brand mascots to life, making sure they reflected the playful, hand-drawn style of the new Stable Squad logo and iconography.

The illustrations were then implemented across a variety of communications – from printed and digital marketing materials to support the launch of Stable Squad, to welcome pack goodies and issues of the club’s bi-annual magazine.
